STA Charity Bike Ride - Coast to Coast in one day

26th May 2018 at Whitehaven to Whitby, Whitehaven to Whitby

STA Members will be participating in a charity bike ride from Whitehaven to Whitby on 26 May to raise money for Children in Need and the Timber Trade Benevolent Society and we need your support!

 Participants:
We are looking for STA Members to volunteer to join us on our bike ride from coast to coast! We anticipate there will be two groups (dependant on numbers). A quicker group and a slower group, with the start times staggered accordingly. The slower group would start at 4.45am followed by the quicker group at 5.30am. Participants who wish to join the groups along the route for set distances, say 20 miles for example, are also welcomed and they can select a group and meet at a designated point. There will also be the option of a “Donation” Fun Ride for all who wish to join in the last 5 miles!

Sponsorship and Donations:

If you are unable to participate in the ride itself but would still like to support these two worthwhile causes, we have sponsorship opportunities ranging from the cycling jerseys, support vehicles plus the start and finish line banners. For more information on these please email bob.davis@structuraltimber.co.uk

Thank you for your support!
