Chase the Sun 2019
22nd June 2019
at Chase The Sun UK South - Kent, Somerset
Once again, the STA will be participating in the Chase the Sun cycling challenge this year.
Chase the Sun is a series of non-competitive bike rides, organised by volunteers and enthusiastic riders. They are affiliated to Cycling UK (CTC), the UK national cycling charity. For more information see www.ctc.org.uk. Chase the Sun is a non-profit organisation, funded only by riders and their kind donations.
At sunrise on June 22nd 2019 riders will be able to take on the ultimate coast-to-coast endurance cycling challenge starting from the isle of Sheppey and finishing in Burnham on Sea covering a distance of 205 miles in just one day!
The route is a faithful cross-section of the UK geography and history, from coastal wetlands, along roman roads, urban sprawl, to country lanes, green vales and geological gorges... a truly epic ride!
We are currently recruiting riders to join our team, and would ask you to complete the short booking form to confirm your expression of interest.
In 2018, the STA managed to raise a grand total of £6,050 and this year have set ourselves a target of £10,000 which will be split between two charities - Children in Need and the Timber Trade Benevolent Society (TTBS).

We have set up a Just Giving Page where you can submit a donation - any contribution great or small is much appreciated. If you are able to donate, please do so by clicking the link below and help us reach our £10k target!
