Following the Grenfell Tower fire, the publication of the 'Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety' by Dame Judith Hackitt set several challenges for the UK construction industry.
In response to the challenges set out in Chapter 7 of the report, which relate to communicating construction product information in a clear and unambiguous way, the Construction Products Association has established the 'Marketing Integrity Group', which consists of communications and technical professionals from across the supply chain.
This Group was established in the autumn of 2018, bringing together professional representatives from a broad range of Product Manufacturers and related organisations with the primary objective to ensure that construction product information is provided in a clear and unambiguous way, such that it can be relied upon by all members of the construction supply chain.
