Full Membership
Full Membership fees are based on your company’s annual turnover related to structural timber. As a Full Member, you receive:

  • Visibility in the STA directory
  • Access to the STA Installer Training Scheme (ITS)

Part Membership


Part Membership is available at a fixed annual fee of £263 however this does offer some restrictions.

  • Company details hidden from the STA directory
  • Limited access to the STA Installer Training Scheme (ITS)

However, even as a Part Member, you still benefit from:

  • Full access to the STA technical library and support line
  • Participation in the ITS programme
  • Networking opportunities with industry peers
  • Communications and updates from government and industry bodies

Whether you choose Part or Full Membership, STA provides the tools, training, and support you need to deliver timber projects with confidence and excellence, while demonstrating your commitment to the highest standards.

Fee is based on annual turnover related to timber or we can offer a fixed fee restricted part membership.

Employers Liability, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance If STA members have direct employees or use bona fide sub-contractors who are contracted to work for them or legally responsible for them – it is a legal requirement to have valid Employers Liability Insurance. It is a mandatory requirement for STA members to have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. If your company has this, please tick the box below and continue your application. All New Memberships are required to undergo a business management systems audit to complete the application process. In the interim all new members will be listed a provisional membership status interim completion of the audit. Audits are carried out by independent Business Management Systems consultants – The first of which will covered by STA.
