2nd December 2021 at Hilton, St Georges Park, Burton on Trent

The STA's Annual Conference will take place on 2nd December 2021 at St. George's Park - the FA's national football centre in Burton on Trent.

This will be the first face to face gathering of the Structural Timber industry for over 18months, so there is much to hear. Also this will provide a terrific networking opportunity, much missed during the months of restrictions brought about by Covid.

Registration will begin at 10.00am for a 10.30am start

The STA Conference is free for members to attend, however there are also options to attend the members dinner and/or stay overnight at the onsite hotel. You can select your preferred options on the online booking form.

Our Guest after dinner speaker will be Paul Merson - Paul is an English football television pundit and former professional footballer <> and manager. Merson was capped 21 times for the England national football team <> and represented the nation at 1992 UEFA European Championship <> and the 1998 FIFA World Cup <> .[4] <>

We are trying to set up for Friday AM a tour St Georges Park. Built in 2012 and set in 330-acres of stunning Staffordshire countryside, St. George's Park is the home of England's national football teams. With 14 outdoor pitches, including a replica of the Wembley surface, a full-size indoor 3G pitch, a suite of rehabilitation and sports science areas, and an indoor futsal arena, St. George's Park provides world-class facilities for the England teams ahead of international fixtures. We are waiting for confirmation on the re-introduction of the tours and will confirm ASAP.
