If you hold an existing S/NVQ or have completed your workbooks, you will need to log on to your dashboard using your unique username and password and ‘request access to the online tests’.

Your supervisor will receive an email asking them to confirm you have completed the workbooks to a satisfactory level (or you hold the relevant qualifications) and once they have clicked on the link, you will be notified by email that the online tests have been added to your dashboard.

STEP FIVE:

You will have 48 hours to complete the online test and at the end of the module you will receive your score, please see below percentage brackets:

  • 100% – 85% = Pass
  • 84% – 75% = Resit required
  • 74% – 0% = Fail

NB: If a resit is required, you have the opportunity straight after your test to re-answer questions you got wrong.

STEP SIX:

Upon successful demonstration of stand-alone competence, competence/experience or experience and completion of the workbook, and successful completion of the online test, all requirements of the STA SIPS Competency Award Scheme will have been met.

A completion certificate will automatically be generated and you can download this from your dashboard.

For STA Assure audit purposes, all SCAS documentation, including S/NVQ certification, SIPS erection experience evidence, completed workbooks and SCAS award certification, must be retained and made available to STA auditors upon request.
