9.00am - Introduction with Andrew Orriss

Context of session, Industry activity – MHCLG and Approved documents / Hackitt review implications / CPA Views.

9.30am - Site Safe CPD programme - Trevor Richards and Mike Burroughs

A walk through the STA Site Safe programme, and how to use the new on line registration process.

This will include emphasis on the mandatory requirement for all STA Assure members to follow this process when build conditions require it.

10.45am - Break

11.15am - Cavity Barriers and Spandrel panels - Martin Milner

Following recent high-profile media interest in new homes built without carrier barriers STA will launch their technical notes on good installation and obligations. This will also include highlighting the requirements of follow on trades.

Added to this section is an overview on the fire protection of spandrel panels as the interest in this detail is increasing in the market.
