Erectors and Installers

It is now a mandatory requirement for all STA Manufacturer members to only use accredited erectors/installers by January 2019.

To assist with the cost of joining the Structural Timber Association, we have created two levels of membership - Full membership and Associate membership.

Please note, membership of the STA is company centric, therefore the company only needs to join once and as soon as that company is set up as a member on this website, the Timber Frame Competency Award Scheme registration form then allows multiple employees from that company to register to participate in the programme.

OPTION 1: Full Erector/ Installer Membership:

Starts at £1098 + vat per annum depending on size of business giving you the full benefits of membership including; access to the STA website, use of the STA Member logo and STA Member profile and listing online. To find out more about the benefits of membership for full members click here

2019 Full membership fee schedule

NB: Membership fee is based on the turnover declared by the company applying i.e. self-declaration

How are the Full Member fees are invoiced?

The STA run membership subscription from 01 January through to 31 December

Should you join part way through the year your invoiced membership fee will be 12 months and then from 01 January the following year will be adjusted to the number of months equivalent remaining in that year.

On 1st January of the next full year of membership then reverts to a 12 month period in line with other members.

Joining date examples

All new members pay for 12 months initially. Then from 01 January of the following year

If a member joins:

•    April 1st - 9 months - your following year invoice will only be 9 months equivalent
•    July 1st - 6 months - your following year invoice will only be 6 months equivalent
•    October 1st -3 months - your following year invoice will only be 3 months equivalent

1st January of the next full year of membership invoice reverts to a 12 month period

OPTION 2: Associate Erector/ Installer Membership:

This option excludes any profile or member listing on the STA website and all company details will be hidden. To find out more about the benefits of associate membership click here
